Peer Review Process
ISTIFHAM adheres to a Double-Blind Review process. Through the Double-Blind Review system, both reviewers and authors are anonymous. Author anonymity to prevent reviewer bias, for example, based on the author's country of origin or previous controversial work. Manuscripts written by prestigious or well-known authors are considered based on the content of their manuscripts, not their reputation.
All manuscripts submitted to this journal will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) or more with the "Double-Blind Review" system. Authors should receive acknowledgment of receipt of their articles after three weeks of submission. If the article passes the Editorial initial screening, the article is sent to reviewers and the process takes about one to three months. Articles accepted with minor or major revisions should be revised as the reviewers’ comments and suggestions. The reviewers will then submit their reports on the manuscripts along with their recommendation of one of the following actions to the Editor:
- Accept Submission;
- Revisions Required;
- Resubmit for Review;
- Resubmit Elsewhere;
- Decline Submission;
- See comments.
ISTIFHAM received more submissions than it could issue. Editors can reject manuscripts without a peer-review process if the manuscript is judged not to meet the minimum required journal qualifications. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow the focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal.
